The no-hair theorem and black hole shadows

The successful observation of M87 supermassive black hole by the Black Hole Event Horizon Telescope(EHT) provides a very good opportunity to study theory gravity. In this work, we obtain exact solution for short hair (BH) in rotation situation, and calculate detail how hairs affect BH shadow. For part, using Newman-Janis algorithm, generalize spherically symmetric short-hair metric case (space-time lie element (2.25)). shadow two hairy models. model 1, properties scalar are determined parameters $\alpha_{0}$ $L$. 2, is hair. model, shape charge $Q_{m}$ $k$. general, various have different effects on shadows, such as non-monotonic intersection phenomena mentioned work. Using these characteristics, it possible test no-hair theorem future EHT observations, so deeper understanding quantum effect BHs. will use numerical simulations BHs their observed properties.

This paper shows that no scalar hair can exist for a spherically symmetric charged black hole. This is true for minimally as well as non-minimally coupled scalar fields.
